Public Affairs Intern
Date: June 2016–August 2016 I accompanied the U.S. Ambassador on 3 Public Affairs community engagement events to advance the diplomatic relationship between United States and Mozambique. As support staff for the Public Affairs Office's largest yearly diplomatic event, I designed the invitation that was sent to over 150 Mozambican guests. As part of the welcoming committee, I registered all attendees and directed them to the appropriate reception line for introductions to the U.S. Ambassador and other embassy staff members. I streamlined the review process for education exchange applications by creating a spreadsheet organizer to reduce time spent on selecting and interviewing candidates. |
